Mr. David Atkinson, CEO

David Atkinson, founder of Earthworks in 1993, has been responsible for both the financial and strategic planning requirements of Cortina Integrated Waste Management Inc. and Earthworks.  Mr. Atkinson was instrumental in the successful negotiation of  a 50 year lease for the Cortina Project. Mr. Atkinson has spent several years working within the regulatory framework for development of the First Nations in North America and has a wealth of experience in that regard. 

Mr. David Andrews, BSc., P.Eng. Director

Mr. Andrews is a graduate of the University of Edinburgh, and has been a professional engineer for 40 years. Initially he practiced in the field of marine, coastal and offshore engineering. For the past 15 years, he has been involved in the private hydro-electric energy industry in B.C., and is a founder and principal of Cloudworks Energy Inc., an independent power developer.   

Mr. David Scott, Director

David Scott holds an MBA from the Ivey School at the University of Western Ontario and has spent over 30 years as an entrepreneur, analyst and investment manager. He founded, built and sold a mutual fund management company, Scotiafund Financial Services and was a founder of Seamark Asset Management, now the largest independent investment counselling firm in Atlantic Canada. Scott has served as chairman of the investment advisory board of the British Columbia Life Sciences Fund and as a member of the Financial Institutions Commission of British Columbia. He is Chairman and a director of Migenix Inc. and serves on the executive of the British Columbia chapter of the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Mr. Giulio T. Bonifacio, Director

Mr. Bonifacio is a professional accountant with over 25 years of experience in senior executive positions in the mining industry. Mr. Bonifacio has held senior executive positions with Getty Resources Limited, TOTAL CFP Group Minerals, Vengold Inc. and American Bonanza Gold Corp. With extensive public company expertise Mr. Bonifacio has an in depth knowledge of financial, regulatory and acquisition related matters. Mr. Bonifacio has been instrumental in several equity and project related financings and has an impressive track record raising capital for projects of merit. Mr. Bonifacio is one of the founders of Nevada Copper Corp.
